Lets take a look at five of the top US safe manufacturers and why they have earned a good reputation. I have listed them in alphabetical order to avoid any implication of ranking among these companies.

American Security or AMSEC has been around since 1948, and are based out of California. They boast being the world's leading producer of burglar resistant safes. Indeed, security has been foremost in their designs. They were the first manufacturer of round door vaults, which were harder to break into and were an industry standard for decades.
